The deactivation of COVID-19 was confirmed by Tokyo Institute of Technology, Nara Medical University and Kanagawa Institute of Industrial Science and Technology (KISTEC) in the photocatalysts technology (visible-light-sensitive photocatalysts) of The University of Tokyo and KISTEC.

The anti-viral・anti-bacterial technology known as “Viruan” has been registered a patent of using the above photocatalysts technology.

“Viruan” is the anti-viral/bacterial technology utilized the visible-light-sensitive photocatalyst. This technology can decrease the number of bacteria and virus even under the indoor lighting condition. Applying this technology to prepare resin handrails, products will exhibit the anti-viral effect (excluding some products).
